The heart of a Gladiator and the urge to do battle is something that can not be easily tamed. After having highly successful wrestling careers at South Dade as well as becoming NJCAA All Americans and Division I wrestlers 2x state placer Chino Duran and 2x State Champion Daniel Perez find themselves in the middle of the octagon and other fighting rings.

Like a "Call of the Wild" State Champion Eddie Boza couldn't resist the urge to continue to do battle after graduating from Fordham College where he landed a scholarship to play football.

Other former wrestlers dabbling in the Mixed Martial Arts fighting arenas are; 2x State Champion Patrick Williams and State Placer Robert Orta.
